Young Mother and Baby

  MUM AND BABY YOGA

6 Week Course 

2nd of March - 6th of April 2023

10 am - 11 am

The arrival of a new baby is a precious and life changing experience that is full of amazing discoveries.

Mum and baby get to know each other and build a strong bond that to carry with them throughout their lives.

 

This course offers the time for mum to recover from childbirth whilst being able to develop the strong mum and baby connection. Sessions will include a 45 minutes yoga practice designed to strengthen and recover the body after pregnancy as well as having time to relax and enjoy play with your baby and a chat with other Mums. 

Hannah is a certified Yoga & Pregnancy Yoga teacher. 

 

Mum & Baby yoga is suitable from from 2 month to the stage of walking and after your 6 week check.

Expectant Couple

PREGNANCY RELAXATION & HYPNOBIRTHING

Gemma Moore a qualified Hypnobirthing teacher and will run pregnancy relaxation sessions and group hypnobirthing courses at the lovely simply space yoga room.

 

If you want to reduce any fears around childbirth and experience a positive birth, even if your thrown the odd curve ball, please get in touch to book onto the following sessions.

Pregnancy relaxation:

A 4 weeks course. Each week we will discuss a different hypnobirthing topic as well as 30 minutes of pure relaxation. Each session is 1 hour . 

6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

£10 per session or £30 for the block of 4 sessions.

Group hypnobirthing courses:

A complete 4 weeks birth preparation course in a group environment, meeting other pregnant couples.

You will learn the tools and techniques to stay calm and in control during your labour and birth, helping you to deduce any fears you may have around childbirth. As well as this you will learn about the birth process and how to make informed decisions so you can have a positive birth experience however your labour & birth plays out.

Hypnobirthing is for ALL births!

Yoga Class for all Ages

YOGA FOR ALL
(HATHA YOGA)

This session is available online and in-studio.

Mondays 7:30 pm - 8:45 pm
Wednesdays 9:15 am - 10:30 am

Thursdays 7 pm - 8:15 pm

A session with a variety of yoga exercises (asanas), breath work and meditation. My love for stories and poetry weaves together with the theory and practice of Yoga and gives each session a particular
theme which offers some inspiration for contemplation and nurturing your growth and wellbeing. A session for all who want to feel more suppleness in their bodies, peace in their minds and love & joy
in their hearts. All levels welcome.

MOBILITY COURSE
(CHAIR YOGA)

This session is available in-studio only.

Mondays 10:30 am - 11:30 am

Suffer with stiffness or pain? Learn to building strength and mobility through everyday movement! This specialist session is using a chair for practicing Yoga - a great way of truly making ‘yoga is for everybody’. The chair is offering real support and it is the way to go for when you have balance issues, feel due to inflexibility or age more confident to do it this way, injury which does not allow you to practice on the floor. It not only has the benefits of regular yoga, such as helping with stress, pain, and fatigue — but it can also help with joint lubrication, balance, and even age-specific issues.

GENTLE YOGA

This session is available online and in-studio.

Mondays 9:15  am - 10:15 am

Wednesday 6 pm - 7:15 pm 

These sessions are a gentler style of hatha yoga practice. It is performed at a slower pace, with less intense positions, and includes extended time for meditation, yogic breath work, and relaxation.  A wonderful way to rest and restore. Modifications with props are possible to help you to enjoy the benefits of yoga and it allows you to move at a comfortable pace.  This sessions are especially great for everyone with injuries, pain, mobility or health issues or those who run a very stressful life and like to balance this with a slow pace on the mat. 

Introduction to Yoga course

This session is available online and in-studio.

Wednesdays 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm 

Curious about Yoga? You were recommended Yoga but not sure were to start? This  a 4 weeks course exploring the basics of yoga at a gentle pace with lots of assists and space to ask questions. Ideal for all those who for the first time put their toe into the vast ocean of Yoga - so to speak. You will learn foundation yoga poses, breathing techniques, meditation and many of the underlying principles of the practice which will allow you to continue to grow, learn and take care of your body, mind and soul.
